Self-presentation or experience: which is more important

Present your experience correctly: even a small background can be described in such a way that it seems cool.

Two main rules of self-presentation:

Structure your cases. One-two-three: situation-action-result.
Positive approach: smile, joke. Nobody wants to work with grumblers.

Language is extremely important. At the same time, I’m not talking about an accent – the main thing is to speak competently, to freely convey thoughts orally and in writing. Nobody wants to work with a product that cannot be clearly expressed. Therefore, if you are planning to move to the States, start working on the language now.

Be prepared that at least another year or two, while in the States, you will have to finish learning the language with a tutor. You will come across the fact that real speech is different, it is full of different turns and accents. Nobody wants a product that constantly asks or, worse, misunderstood something and everything went wrong.
